MonoCab VRT Rapid Transit System

About Us:-

David

This is somewhat of a misnomer.

The "us" consists of just the MonoCab VRT inventor - David Whittaker.

He started in the design industry in 1964 - 50 years ago. His first 13 years was in civil engineering. In 1976, he started his own building design business on the Gold Coast.

He has successfully designed machinery, steel structures, fibre optic light boxes, light fixtures, concrete structures and some consumer products to name just a few.

He's had a lot to do with inventions and patents in various ways including 5 years as Secretary of the Gold Coast Inventors Guild.  In 2000, he was granted an Australian Patent for "A Braking System for Retracting Screens".

When the Queensland Government introduced licensing of Building Designers in 1993, he was one of 105 granted the Open, unrestricted license.

In 2003, the Queensland Government appointed him as one of 68 Referees in the Building and Development Tribunal and he retains this appointment.
